身為聯合公園(Linkin Park)首腦及主唱之一的麥克(MC Mike Shinoda)，將化身為黑暗堡壘(Fort Minor簡稱為FM)，推出全新首張革命大碟[The Rising Tied]。
當黑暗堡壘(Fort Minor簡稱為FM)專輯發行的消息一曝光時，在聯合公園的歌迷群裡，就開始熱烈地討論，聯合公園是不是要解散了。於是所有LP的信徒們，都在各大聯合公園的家族網站、部落格、及留言板上，熱烈地討論著。而這波雪球般越滾越大的傳言，也傳到了聯合公園團員的耳裡，聽到這個傳言的團員們，很感動的表示謝謝這些歌迷朋友對他們的支持及喜愛。隨即共同公開一份聲明稿表示，聯合公園不會解散，目前也在準備全新專輯，預計在明年帶著全新的作品和大家見面。除此之外，LP團員們非常驕傲在麥克的帶領下，能夠讓黑暗保壘(Fort Minor簡稱為FM)這個同屬於聯合公園家族一分子的新血可以誕生，所有LP的成員將會力挺FM到底，一起見證黑暗保壘再次為樂壇帶來一場新的音樂革命。
